The school year was wrapped up with a Year-End performance of students with the theme, “When I Grow Up!.” Each class showcased the skills that they have learned in class. Toddler Red and Playgroup Blue students danced to the tune of ‘People Work and When I Grow Up”, Pre-Kindergarten Brown recited the poem “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” and the Kindergarten 1 Orange students read the story “Penguin, says “Please”.

The upper level students also danced to the tune of “We Will Rock You”. Everybody became teary when the students sang a song of thanks while giving their parents flowers as a symbol of gratitude for everything that they have done for them. It was a very touching scene seeing parents hugged and kissed their children while receiving the flowers. At this early stage of development, a positive view of themselves as learners is one of the most important benefits we can inculcate in our children.
