In the last weeks of Term 3, Little Thinkers students’ literacy activities were focusing on reciting stories that were in line with the theme of Transportation. They created art and craft based on the story to support their comprehension. A story recitation competition was conducted to give students an opportunity to showcase their individual skills and be involved in a competitive activity. It helps them develop important values they will use well in their lives, like the value of hard work, self-esteem and self-efficacy and tenacity. The culmination of the event were class performances.  Students recited the story with the classmates, sang, danced and played musical instruments in front of their parents. They enjoyed their performance time on the stage.
